I was gone all day today hiking to countryside villages to give out scholarships to middle schoolers. I have plenty to say about it, but I’ll save most for a future post. For now just let me say that Spring has come to Xiangxi. It was warm and sunny all day and the peach blossoms and wild chrysanthemums were out in bloom. Now the thunder is here and the rain is pounding the roofs.
For my weekly post this week, I’m working on something a little more experimental, and it’s taking a little longer than usual, so I hope you’ll forgive the delay.
